Patricia A. Kirby, Beloved Wife, Mother, Aunt & Friend

Patricia A. Kirby, 81, passed away at home in Harding Township on June 10, 2019. Patricia was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 22, 1938 to Lester E. and Mary (May) Williams née Lane. She graduated from Wilson High School in Easton, PA and Harcum College 1959.

Pat married Edmond M. Kirby on May 26, 1962. Recently, Pat & Ed, a retired Superior Court Judge, celebrated their 57th anniversary. She raised her family in Livingston, NJ for 30 years. James Kirby (Paula), Kathleen Bathmann (Rich), John Kirby (Fionnghuala) and Christine Russillo (Domenico).

Pat loved hosting the many family gatherings on all occasions and supported her children in all of their endeavors. She was a force of nature, who left an indelible impression on everyone she met. She will be missed dearly by both friends and family, here and in Ireland.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17 from 3-8PM at the Doyle Funeral Home, 106 Maple Ave., Morristown, NJ. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, June 18 at 11:00AM at the Church of Christ the King, Blue Mill Rd., New Vernon, NJ. A private burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to St. Joseph’s Indian School, PO Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326.
