Obituary for Donald W. Remlinger

Donald Remlinger of Morris Twp. passed away suddenly on Thursday morning July 11th from an apparent heart attack. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Union, NJ. After graduating from Seton Hall Prep Don enlisted in the Army, serving in Korea. He then came home to Fairleigh Dickenson University in Madison, NJ from where he graduated with a degree in business. He spent most of his career doing financial things on Wall Street and thereabouts. His main passion was golf in "capital letters". In his prime, he had a single digit handicap that many other golfers would be envious of. He caddied at Baltusrol as a young man and joined as a golf member in 1992. He loved all of his years playing golf there. He leaves behind a wife of over 50 years, Sharon, and a son, Darrell.

Don has finished the back nine, posted his score, and signed his card. He is on his way home........may God bless.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Christ the King, Blue Mill Rd., New Vernon on Wednesday at 11:00AM. Memorial hours of visitation will be held at the Doyle Funeral Home, 106 Maple Ave., Morristown on Tuesday from 4-8PM.
